Fern joined the Raezhaven family on 15th June 2007, and from the moment she arrived she made us laugh! She is so very pretty and has the cutest expressions with those hazel eyes, very hard to resist! We bought her to work, but essentially as a companion for Ruby, and that she certainly is, they are inseperable and between them, keep us very busy trying to keep up with their mischievous antics. She is training well with her basic obedience and responds like lightening to the whistle. Temperament wise, she is completely different to Ruby, much calmer and more gentle but still has all the typical cocker traits, biddable, busy and extremely loyal. She is great fun to be around and she just loves to be wherever we are.

She loves the other dogs and squirms like a worm when she greets them, doing her best grovelling techniques, her favourites are Echo and Nova, and she spends ages lying in between Echos' front legs trying to wiggle her way up her nose, and doing the same to Nova!! She started this when she was a puppy, and now, at nearly two years old, she still spends a lot of time, on her back, with her legs in the air.!

We are concentrating now, on honing her natural abilities into a good working cocker, although her forte at the moment is our Caring Canine Visiting. She is very popular and loves all the attention she receives, she always seems to know which person is in need of that extra bit of Fern TLC.

She is a very special little girl and we love her to bits, thank you so much Caroline for letting us have her in our family, we couldn't imagine life without her now.
